I haven't posted in ages! Not sure why other than nothing much is going on here in the middle of this sweaty and moist summer. This is my cousin, Jackie. We are 3 years apart and pretty much grew up together. A couple of weekends ago we spent the day "antiquing" and ended up out on the lake boating and swimming. It was a great day. She is very generous in sharing her wonderful hubby to help me around the house. I wanted to make sure I said THANKS!
I gave up on my garden. I have a crazy cucumber plant, one cherry tomato plant the the dog it snacking off of like her own personal salad bar and this purple tomato plant. Doesn't taste very good, not like a fresh tomato should taste.
Looks like I am heading up north this weekend. I haven't been since last summer and it will be a bit bitter sweet. I am going to my niece's cottage where Bob used to like to run his model hydroplane boat. It never ran very well and they had to work on it every time. We used to tease him about it big time. I am sure it will be a fun weekend. The company is great and kids are a hoot.
