Back from Cleveland

It was a busy busy week at the Cleveland Clinic. We had non-stop appointments from Monday until Wednesday. Thank goodness they cancelled our Thursday appointments and we could head home. The transplant committee meets every Friday. Once all of Bob's test results are completed the committee will review them and call us to tell us yes, the will be able to do the liver transplant, or no, they will not. We should have an answer this week or next.

After packing up Thursday morning we headed over to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The building was beautiful in the bright sunshine. The museum, not so much. My brother told me he had been "underwhelmed" when he visited and I have to agree. It felt like there was a lot missing. They had small selections of a handful of the more famous artists, Hendrix, the Stones, Elvis, but not enough of any one thing particulary the Beatles. Only one small wall with about 6 pictures and handful of memoriablia. What I enjoyed the most was seeing handwritten songs, notes and set lists by some of my favorite artists. What I thought was missing the most was exhibits about the musicians who have been inducted into the hall of fame.

Anyone who knows the Bobster knows we cannot visit a city with a Hard Rock Cafe without at least stopping for a pin and/or T-shirt. The HRC in Cleveland is right downtown, hard to find and doesn't have parking unless you want to pay $15 for the valet! Oh and all the streets are ONE WAY! After much driving circle and swearing I found a place to park and ended up having lunch. It was a nice break after an exhausting few days and before heading home.
